Northern California is the best fishing in the state and it is not close. Steelhead on the Trinity, salmon runs up the Sacramento, trout on the Upper Sac and the McCloud, bass all over Shasta Lake, and a coastline full of rockfish. The NorCal Fishing Club is not an organization. It is everybody who has stood in cold water at first light waiting for the bite.
